Author of three non-fiction books: (i) "Mapping the Great Game: Explorers, Spies & Maps in 19th-Century Asia" ; (ii) "The Stone Tower: Ptolemy, the Silk Road, and a 2,000-Year-Old Riddle" (re-published as "Mapping the Silk Road: the Riddle of Ptolemy's Stone Tower") ; (iii) Everest Surgeon: Michael Ward and the Exploration of High Asia.

Currently working on a historical fiction book about the Silk Road.
