I am an unpublished author.  I have a YA novel in third draft, after helpful feedback from two members of the Society.  On the offchance that I do get someone interested in this thing, I will need advice and support.  I have occasional short stories, notes for new novels, and over the years I've probably written a couple of hundred songs, some of which have been commercially released on small labels.  Trust me, nothing you've ever heard of.  I have extensive experience as a plain-English writer in the legal industry, some experience as a desk editor for publishers, and 20 or so years as a high-school English teacher.  I'm still doing that job, and have a captive audience that I can use to try out my work.
