Rochelle Sewell

I'm a published author and magazine journalist, and I love to play with words. I've authored a range of feature articles for magazines in New Zealand and the UK. I published my first book in late 2020, a memoir for a retired athlete and policeman; Ross Dallow Larrakin. Lawman. Legacy.
I'm currently part of the team at Life Stories. I work with a diverse mix of clients to record their life history and capture treasured stories in memoir format. I enjoy the flexibility of working as a freelance writer and for me, having a variety of challenges allows my creativity of thrive. I'm a non-fiction writer who enjoys preparing articles on brief, blogging and creating entertaining and engaging content for business websites and community organisations.
I spent the first 13 years of my career as a town planner, writing reports for the public and private sector. I enjoy writing strategic policy and am adept at writing for business as well as proofreading complex Government reports. I'm an extrovert who enjoys talking to people from all walks of life and can tell a story on cue.
