Shara Curlett lives on the Hibiscus Coast in Auckland, with her husband, two children, two dogs and a dragon (bearded, but she's claiming it). Shara is passionate about inspiring creativity and imagination in children, believing a good foundation of creativity can help with mental health later in life. Her debut middle-grade novel, Welcome to Miracle, was 1 April 2025 with Scholastic Australia. Her new blockbuster middle-grade fantasy series, Protector of Beyond, will be published 1 September 2026.
