Stacey Broadbent

Stacey Broadbent used to dance across the stage as both a salsa dancer and theatre kid, but these days it's her fingers dancing across the keys of her computer.

She writes under five names and a variety of genres, so there is something to suit most tastes. Her storytelling style combines wit, relatability, and emotional resonance - inviting readers into the messy, marvelous folds of life.

An avid reader and lover of all things bookish, Stacey has made it her goal to share about her favourite authors and books she's read, while also building her own publishing story. The proud co-ordinator of charity bookish event, Wham Bam Author Jam, Stacey provides a space for readers and authors to connect, while enabling her never-ending TBR to continuously grow with each event.

She is a qualified proofreader and has recently completed her Diploma in Library and Information and is currently working towards a Diploma in Arts.

As well as reading, her hobbies include LEGO, cross-stitch, crochet, diamond art, and now acrylic painting, and you can often find her sharing about her latest project on TikTok and Instagram.

Awesome Applesauce: Indies Down Under

Two Indie Authors, slinging our shit in every group, blog, and post we could find. That’s how we met. That’s how we became virtual besties.

It didn’t matter that we lived on opposite sides of the world.  We understood each other.  We shared the same hellish road of authordom, filled with its struggles, successes, rejections, and triumphs. Through endless texts, countless posts, and obsessive chats, we discovered the treasure hidden along this path.

This is our story.

Our first real book signing.

And the beginning of one very wild, extremely funny, and beautifully intense adventure.

Reflections

A collection of poems about everything and nothing.

Poetry has always called to me in both my darkest

moments and times of great joy. It is the thing that

holds us together in a world that shows no mercy.

Crave

I never anticipated developing a taste for human flesh, but here we are.

It was a balmy spring evening, and I was minding my own business, when in walked Mark. He was charismatic, and something about him called to me, so against my better judgement, I accepted his offer of a drink.

Little did I know, one drink would lead to a life I never imagined for myself; the life of a killer.

Book one in the Dark Sins novellas

A deliciously dark and twisted tale of gluttony

*Not for the faint of heart*

Crave contains scenes of a graphic nature

Fever

What would you do if your whole world was turned upside down?

If all around you, people were dying...

and coming back to take you down with them?

A fever like no one has seen before is ravaging New Zealand.

There is no hope in sight.

The fate of the nation rests in the hands of a group of teenagers.

When they find their only real lead, disaster strikes,

and it becomes a race against time to find a cure.

Deep Heat

I’m getting older.

It’s a fact I don’t like to admit.

In fact, I spend my days desperately trying to hide any signs of aging and clinging to my fading youth.

That is until I meet Dallas Mahoney, the

silver-haired fox who not only shows his age, but embraces it. And you know what?

I like it. I like it a whole lot.

With a big birthday coming up, I’m soon to embark on a new era in my life: the naughty forties.

The question is, do I take a leaf from his book and let it all hang out?

Lady Luck

I’m getting married to the man I love.
It should be a happy occasion, but without my lucky knickers, nothing seems to be going my way. In fact, everything seems to be going drastically wrong.

It’s one blasted thing after another.

But with my two best friends doing everything they can to help, surely I can make it down the aisle in one piece. Right?

Emma

Fame, success, addiction...

A simple kiwi girl turned Hollywood superstar, that's what they call me.

After a few too many drinks at one of the biggest awards ceremonies on the planet, I make one of the most epic faux

pas of the century; I try to run off with someone else's award.

You'd think it would be enough to put me on the scrap heap, forever known as, "that has-been actress from New Zealand".

As luck would have it, a plucky drunk is just what the Ramirez brothers are looking for.

Turns out, they're not the only ones.

Literally falling into the strong, capable arms of my neighbor, Brock Appleby, I can't help but turn into a bumbling idiot

whenever he's around.

Hardworking, kind, and a gentleman to boot, Brock is everything I need, and nothing I feel I deserve. Running from

a past that won't let me forget, it's no wonder I turn to the only thing that dulls the senses; alcohol.

Can I overcome my past and forgive myself, or will I let my addiction take hold and drag me down?

rekindling of a long-buried friendship.

childhood, is now a man—one Raoul turns to in

his time of need. But could their connection be

something more than friendship?
