ABOUT STEPHANIE SINCLAIRE LIGHTSMITH

Stephanie is an awarding winning director, writer and producer of film and theatre and an artist and author. Stephanie co-ran the famous and well-loved Kings Head Theatre, London, co-producing over 60 plays and musicals. She was Managing and Creative Director of Dragonfly Films which produced the documentary, A Maverick in London, which she wrote and co-directed, and the feature film Silence Becomes You, which she directed and wrote.

Emigrating to NZ in 2012 she co-founded the art venue Sea Star Studio, which presented themed art exhibitions, concerts, circus, support groups, think tanks and film labs. In 2015 she co-founded Sea Star Creations and produced and co-wrote two shorts both of which premiered at festivals.

In 1995 Stephanie wrote her memoir God’s Theory of Creativity (first published as The Shores of Grace) which charted a radical awakening and expansion of awareness during a two-year experience. This planted the seeds for the modality she created to heal emotion, empower people and enhance human potential, Creative Alchemy. She has facilitated Creative Alchemy in four countries with people from all walks of life from students to entrepreneurs to suicidal patients to parents and teachers to scientists and businesspeople, artists and many more. Stephanie recently took two years out to write Creative Alchemy - The Science of Miracles, a book about this system of healing and empowerment through creativity, providing the science from neuroscience, psychology, biology, quantum science and metaphysics to explain in an accessible way how and why it is possible that we can create our reality and co-create a better world. This book won the Ashton Wylie Charitable Trust Award 2020.

Stephanie is now working on a Young Adult novel, Emmie and the 7th World,  that is woven with techniques and ways to understand, manage and heal emotion, enhance human potential and make sense of our world, while also being an adventure thriller with a young female protagonist.

    God's Theory of Creativity

"This book is an intense, ethereal yet almost perilous journey into the creative experience. It is both nearly spiritually exclusive and still fascinatingly human.
A fantastic journey for anyone searching their soul, contemplating their existence and most importantly, coming to terms and trying to understand their own artistry and creative being. It is lovingly accompanied by stunning artwork that in themselves inspire."  Natasha Ragdale, Journalist

"Stephanie Sinclaire's God's Theory of Creativity is a vast and beautiful work. Richly illustrated with her own paintings depicting a prolonged mystical encounter, Sinclaire traverses realms I have only ever seen one other have the courage to do - and even then, only published after his death. Permit me to explain. God's Theory of Creativity and Carl Jung's Liber Novus or Red Book are, for me, companion volumes - two extraordinary ventures into the realm of the Spirit and Soul, accompanied by avatars of the Divine." Stephanie Pietkiewicz, True Story and Purposeful Partners
