Steve Stables

Steve grew up in an industrial town up in England's Northwest, Steve popped into this world equipped with a dry sense of humour. You know, the kind that splits the crowd straight down the middle—half roaring with laughter while the other half winced as if they'd just heard a classic dad joke.

Now, Steve finds himself in a picturesque coastal nook of New Zealand. Picture this: from a town where the rain was more frequent than chuckles to a place where the waves dance and the sun plays peekaboo with the clouds. Steve’s still mastering the art of Kiwi humor, but hey, at least the scenery's a 10 out of 10, even if his jokes sometimes land at a solid 7!

His debut book, "The Vampire’s Missing Cape," has earned a considerable of accolades, clinching the top spot in the Children’s comedy category at The Brew Project and bagging the Outstanding Creative Award for humor. It marks the beginning of an exciting series of children's books set to be unveiled by Steve.

Super sad that his most famous fashion accessory has disappeared, Vamp spins in circles trying to discover where it could have gone. But the harder he looks, the more hopeless his search seems.

Can the fanged disco dancer find his fabulous cloak or is it lost in the night?
