Teoti Jardine is of Maori, Irish, and Scottish descent. His tribal affiliations are Waitaha, Kati Mamoe, Kai Tahu. He graduated from the Hagley Creative Writers Course in 2011. He has poems published in The Press, London Grip, Te Karaka, Te Panui Runaka, Ora Nui, and JAAM. He had his short stories published in the International Issues of Flash Frontier 2013. He is a member of the Canterbury Poets Collective Committee, and recites at the Catalyst Open Mic sessions. He lives at a friends place near Oxford North Canterbury with his dog Amie.
