Tessa Patrick (Kāi Tahu) is a freelance feature writer and journalist from Te Waipounamu, currently residing in Tāmaki Makaurau. Her work has been featured in Stuff, Denizen, Viva and Ensemble, where she enjoys writing about food, fashion and the vaster idiosyncrasies of modern life. Currently, Tessa is pursuing a Master of Creative Writing at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland, where her first foray into literary fiction considers bikies in Aotearoa through their children's eyes.
