Tessa Duder

Tessa Duder has published around 50 books (for children, YA and adult across most genres, some published internationally) since 1982. Her awards include the Katherine Mansfield fellowhip to Menton, the Antarctica fellowship, writers' residences, individual book awards, the OBE, and an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Waikato. In 2020 she won the Prime Minister's Award (fiction) and in 2021 was NZSA's President of Honour and received the civil honour of CNZM. She has four children and two grandchildren and lives in Auckland.
