Tiffany Brown

I’ve been writing on a freelance commercial basis since 2012, following the achievement of a Diploma in Freelance Journalism from NZIBS, for which I won a writing competition to earn a full rebate on my tuition fees. My work as a freelancer includes news and features for our local suburban newspaper, magazine journalism, online content, blogging and social media, as well as varied commercial projects.
I graduated the Write A Novel Course with Distinction through NZ Writers College in 2019. My first novel is The Shape of the World, a generational saga about the bonds between mothers and daughters which explores a future of cultural upheaval. When we find the holy grail, will utopia await?
I live in semi-rural Aotearoa with my young family where I put our tranquil views and pastoral sanctitude to good use as inspiration to write every day.
