Trish Nicholson

Trish Nicholson is an anthropologist, photographer and writer of creative non-fiction whose career spans thirty years as columnist, feature writer and author. She also writes short stories. Over the last two years she has won a couple of international short story competitions, been a finalist in several others, and had her stories published in anthologies and in the writing magazine Words With JAM. Trish has several recent ebooks available from main online retailers: two travelogues, Masks of the Moryons: Easter Week in Mogpog (set in the Philippines) was released in 2011, and Journey in Bhutan: Himalayan Trek in the Kingdom of the Thunderdragon in April 2012 , and a popular science ebook writing as an anthropologist, From Apes to Apps: How Humans Evolved as Storytellers and Why is Matters, released in February 2013. Her works in progress are a travel memoir based on five years working in Papua New Guinea, and an historical anthropology of storytelling, Her two latest books are on writing craft: Inside Stories for Writers and Readers, and Writing Your Nonfiction Book: the complete guide to becoming an author.
