Booklovers Writers Residency is opening in Wellington in May and will operate from May to September inclusive each year. It will operate on the European model where residents self-fund and self-cater. There are three rooms with queen beds and ensuite bathrooms. Kitchen, dining and living room areas are shared. Length of stay is one week to eight weeks. It is open to all creative people, but it is aimed at writers and researchers – as the National Library and Archives New Zealand are walkable and bus-able.
