The newly renamed Allen & Unwin Aotearoa New Zealand is pleased to announce that Emma Clifton will be joining the Auckland team in the role of Publisher.

Emma is a highly regarded journalist who co-founded Capsule, New Zealand’s fastest growing online women’s lifestyle brand. She has worked in magazines for more than 15 years, including at The Australian Women’s Weekly and NEXT magazine.

Emma has previously worked on a variety of book projects, including working alongside Ruth Shaw on her internationally bestselling memoir, The Bookseller at the End of the World.

Allen & Unwin Aotearoa New Zealand Publishing Director Michelle Hurley says, ‘I’m delighted that Emma is joining us. Emma will start in the role in early March.

Allen & Unwin New Zealand has now changed its name to Allen & Unwin Aotearoa New Zealand.
