Sheila Kennard will be talking about her book Sky Full of Stars: Penpals across a Century on Sunday 15 July, 2 pm, at Nelson’s Elma Turner Library.

Sky Full of Stars was the culmination of a promise Sheila made to her granddaughter to create a book using the letters written home from the WW1 trenches by Sheila’s grandfather. Sheila will be speaking about her technique and the resulting book.
