Author, cyclist, survivor
Jeremy Scott will be speaking at Howick Library about his 52,000km bicycle ride following the release of his book The long road from a broken heart.
As a four-year-old, Jeremy Scott underwent life-changing open heart surgery at Greenlane Hospital in New Zealand.
34 years later and living in London, he decided to quit his job and cycle home to Auckland!
“We only have one life and I wanted to make the most of mine”.
During his bike ride he raised funds for the New Zealand Heart Foundation who helped fund his surgery all those years ago.
Come along and listen to this inspirational man speak about his life changing journey that has helped, and will continue to help, so many others.
