In partnership with University Book Shop Otago and Ruru Press, Dunedin Libraries is pleased to host an evening with Katherine Dewar, author of climate change thriller Ruby and the Blue Sky.
In conversation with Ahika Dunedin’s Dr Niki Bould, Katherine talks about the genesis of her first book, a novel about fame, power, sacrifice…and the restorative importance of tea!
Ruby and the Blue Sky has been hailed by Dunedin Writer Iona Winter as “a deftly woven tale of light and shadow, love and hatred”, while Green Party MP and Co-Leader, Metiria Turei, commented on the book “The world is what we make it. Beautiful, fierce, thriving. This is Ruby’s world and I want in”.
Join us for a chance to find out more about the book, and to pose your questions on this highly topical subject.
Katherine Dewar is a member of the New Zealand Society of Authors, Auckland branch.
