The cover of the book was designed by Suzanne Day. K?rearea, the endemic New Zealand falcon featured on the cover, is Aotearoa’s most threatened bird of prey. To help ensure the voice of k?rearea continues to be heard by future generations, a donation from the sale of each book will contribute to falcon conservation.
The Fresh Ink 2019 Auckland based launch will be held in the AUT Building: WT1602 on Wednesday 25th between 6 and 7.30. A selection of readers will read from this stunning anthology.
A second Fresh Ink launch will take place in the University Bookshop in ?tepoti Dunedin at 5.30pm, October 2.
