Helen Waaka is launching her new book, Waitapu , and you are cordially invited to celebrate this launch with her:
- In Napier – at the Beattie and Forbes bookshop on Friday December 4th, 5.30 – 6.30pm
- In Wairoa – at the Wairoa library, 212 Marine Parade, on Thurs December 10th30 – 6.30pm
These events will each involve a talk about the book over wine and nibbles.
Helen writes that
“The book, Waitapu, is a collection of interlinked short stories set in a small rural town over a 40 year time frame.
The stories should appeal to young adults, older readers, men, women, Maori and Pakeha, and because of the diversity of the characters there should be a story in Waitapu for everyone.
