VENDETTA PRODUCTIONS and SOUTH PACIFIC PICTURES wish to develop several feature films for specific audiences
We are looking for ideas for dramatic feature films which would appeal to
? Older audiences 55 plus
? Females aged 35 – 54 years
We have a particular interest in finding comedic stories but are open to anything fresh and unique that will have broad appeal to these audiences.
Do you have a great feature film idea which you think might be suitable? Are you keen to develop it with the help of industry professionals who have insider knowledge of what local and international audiences and markets are currently looking for?
The successful shortlisted applicants will have the opportunity to workshop their ideas in a group setting under the guidance of Vendetta General Manager Jill Macnab, and SPP CEO Kelly Martin and Head of Development Rachel Jean.
The seed fund will be used to support each shortlisted creator to write up a Key Selling Proposal and Story Outline, and after receiving feedback, develop a detailed Treatment. The intention is that the 2 or 3 best ideas will be optioned and become part of Vendetta/SPP’s active development slate.
Successful applicants will be notified by 7 November and the workshop session will run late-November 2016 in Auckland.
