Paula Morris is returning to New Zealand from her current Katherine Mansfield Menton Fellowship in France to give you some tips on how to tackle that tricky ‘point of view’ thing that vexes many a fledgling writer (well, she’s also coming back to do other things too, but that sort of spoils a good hook). There’s not much that Paula can’t do – she’s one of those talented literary chameleons who can turn her hand to anything: novels, short stories, essays, and probably even shopping lists. She also teaches creative writing at the University of Auckland. All this would suggest that you’d be a fool to miss out on her creative prose workshop.
Saturday 11 May, 10.00am–12 noon
Dunningham Suite, Dunedin City Library
Price: $45
