Do you fancy a day away from everything, surrounded by native bush but only ten minutes from Nelson city? This is your chance to relax, find inspiration, mix with other writers – or not (your choice!) – while enjoying fantastic catering.

Lindy Kelly is generously offering her farm at 100 Enner Glynn Road for Day Retreats. She has an acre of garden around her house, with lots of peaceful nooks and crannies and a gazebo, chairs and seats where people can sit out of sight of others to write. There is also 7ha of native bush on the farm where people are welcome to wander.

For $65 per person, the Day Retreat will run for six hours, from 10 am to 4 pm. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be free, with catering by a professional chef. Initially, numbers will be limited to 10 people.

It is envisaged that there will be several Day Retreats over the summer, with the first taking place on Sunday 26 November. Note that this will only go ahead if sufficient numbers of people are interested.
