Lavinia Winter Fellow

This Fellowship, running since 2009, is open for women artists/writers/researchers working in any media under the age of 40.
In memory of Lavinia Winter, New Zealand Pacific Studio invites applications for the 3-week Lavinia Winter Fellowship from women under the age of forty. Applicants could be working in any art medium, should have a particular creative project in mind, and should be in the early stage of their creative ‘careers’. Selection will be made on the nature of an applicant’s proposed project and the degree to which they will benefit from having the space and time to focus on a project of importance to them.
The New Zealand Pacific Studio in Mount Bruce, Wairarapa – a year-round rural residency centre for artists from New Zealand and abroad, located about 15 minutes from Masterton and about 2 hours from Wellington.
The 2015 Fellow was Emma Chalmers; the 2014 Fellow was Anneleise Gelman.
