The Ngaio Marsh Awards, in association with Nelson Libraries, invites Top of the South booklovers to a thrilling event featuring three outstanding New Zealand writers who pen exciting tales centred on strong, young female protagonists.
2019 Ngaios entrants Tina Shaw and Helen Vivienne Fletcher are joined by 2018 Ngaio Marsh Award for Best First Novel winner Jennifer Lane to discuss how they craft great stories and blend page-turning mystery plots with fascinating characters and incorporate real-life themes into even the most fantastical plotlines. Acclaimed young adult author Rachael Craw will interrogate the offenders and keep the peace.
