Natalie Haynes presents Honour Among Thebes

The History of Theatre has never been so much fun.

Writer and comedian Natalie Haynes presents Honour Among Thebes, a lively tour through the early Greek Tragedies and Comedies, from the first performance by Thespis to the raucous sex-strike of Aristophanes’ Lysistrata, via the great tragedies of Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides. Honour Among Thebes is based on Natalies book, The Children of Jocasta which retells the Antigone and Oedipus myths through a refreshingly feminist lens.

This is a one-hour event followed by the chance to chat with Natalie, buy her books and get them signed.

Supported by University of Victoria Theatre Programme and The Park Hotel.
