NZ Writers College Short Story Competition 2017 – CALLING FOR ENTRIES

The 8th annual NZ Writers College Short Story Competition is being held to acknowledge excellence in creative writing among beginner writers.

The competition is open to any writer residing in New Zealand who is unpublished, or has been published fewer than four times.

PRIZES:

First Prize: $1 000.00 and publication in an anthology of winning stories
Second Prize: $ 500.00 and publication in an anthology of winning stories
Third Prize: $ 250.00
Principal’s Choice: $ 250.00

The winners will receive editorial comments on their submitted works by a panel of award-winning writers.
