We will send an agenda, with minutes of the previous AGM, to all NZSA members in our Wellington-Wairarapa region, the week before the 2026 AGM. We’ll also send details at that stage of how to join the formal AGM procedures via Zoom, for anyone unable to attend in person.

Date: Tuesday 28 April 2026
Venue: two/fiftyseven, Level 2, 57 Willis St (upstairs from Unity Books; also accessed via 70 Victoria St)
Time: 6.00–7.30pm

We’ll start the event at 6.00pm with guest speaker Whiti Hereaka, followed by NZSA Wellington Branch AGM.

Call for nominations

At our AGM, we will be voting on a new committee to carry us through to 2027. While the majority of our current committee members have indicated they will stay on committee, we’re inviting anyone interested in volunteering their time to support our branch to get in touch.

We particularly encourage and warmly invite expressions of interest from NZSA members who have existing skills and experience with MailChimp or other newsletter platforms (or are keen to upskill by learning from an experienced committee member).

If you are interested in joining the committee, you will need two people to support your nomination (please contact us if you need assistance with this). These can be any members of NZSA in Wellington Branch. Email Gigi Fenster c/- nzsawellington@gmail.com if you have any questions about the committee, and/or if you wish to stand for office.

Nominations can be accepted right up until the AGM begins.

Accessibility: two/fiftyseven is a fully accessible venue. Please contact us beforehand if you have any questions.

As always we welcome anyone who chooses to wear a mask, and we ask that if you are unwell you stay home and stay safe.

Transport and travel: two/fiftyseven is on Level 2, 57 WIllis St (access via Victoria St after 6pm). Take the elevator up to Level 2 from the arcade next to Unity Books. Closest bus stops are on Willis St. Paid street parking is available in the area, or park at Te Papa (10-minute walk away) at the evening rate of $2 per hour from 5pm on.
