We’re kicking off our 2026 programme with an Open Mic event at two/fiftyseven on Tuesday 17 March at 6pm. There is no theme and no genre restrictions. Details below.

What: Open Mic Evening

Date: Tuesday 17 March 2026

Where: two/fiftyseven, Level 2, 57 Willis St (also accessed via 70 Victoria St)

Time: 5.30pm doors/sign-up, for a 6.00pm start

• Sign up from 5:30 pm. The programme fills up fast, and spots are allocated on a first time, first served basis. If the programme is full, we might give priority to someone who has not read before, though.
• You are invited to read up to 5 mins from any genre. Please try to time yourself before coming. We will be ruthless with the timing
• The event runs from 6pm – 7pm. Note that access can be an issue after 6:10, so please arrive on time
• The venue is accessible. Second Floor, 57 Willis Street
• Light refreshments provided

Transport and travel: two/fiftyseven is on level 2, 57 Willis St. Take the lift up to level 2 from the arcade (hint: the arcade runs down from Willis St next to Unity Books). Before 6pm, you may access via Willis St, but after 6pm, access via 70 Victoria St only. Closest bus stops are on Willis St.
