Picton Poets are publishing their second anthology, Impressions, which marks twenty-one years since the group began. The poems included are by current members of the group and two long-term past members, one of whom is haiku poet Ernest Berry who began the group in 1995.
The anthology is illustrated by local artist Caroline della Porta.
Impressions will be launched on Sunday 16 October, 2.30 – 4 pm, at Le Café, 12-14 London Quay, Picton. Picton Poets will be providing a 21st birthday carrot cake; other food and drink can be purchased from the café.
The editor,Julie Kennedy, will introduce the anthology, and there will be selected readings of the poems. The launch price will be $20. For more information contact Julie Kennedy at kennedyjf@xtra.co.nz.
