There can’t be too many Aotearoa New Zealand writers who have been immortalised in bronze three times – but Frank Sargeson has been. His portrait busts by Terry Stringer, Anthony Stones and Alison Duff are on show together for the first time at the Angela Morton Room in Takapuna Library.
Everyone is welcome to join us at the exhibition opening night event on Thursday 1 August, from 6pm. An oral history librarian will be on hand to record people’s memories of Sargeson.
Hosted by Auckland Research Centres.
The ‘Three Faces of Frank’ exhibition will run from 1 August – 31 October in the Angela Morton Room at Takapuna Library.
