The Wellington branch of New Zealand Society of Authors Te Puni Kaituhi o Aotearoa warmly invites you to TICKET TO WRITE – An evening with Philippa Werry and Redmer Yska.

Where: GOOD BOOKS, 2/16 Jessie St, Pōneke Wellington (need a map?)

When: Wednesday 21 June from 5.30pm to 7.00pm

Travel with Redmer Yska through Katherine Mansfield’s Europe: Station to Station, and step aboard Philippa Werry’s adventurous verse biography of Robin Hyde, Iris and Me.

In conversation with Tracy Farr, Philippa and Redmer will consider the challenges and delights of historical research — an onerous but necessary task, or a magical and inspirational ticket to write?

Books available to purchase, and authors will be signing books on the night

Koha $3 for NZSA members / $5 for non-members

Accessibility

The good people at GOOD BOOKS take Covid safety very seriously, and they have great ventilation in the shop, with a CO2 monitor, a HEPA air filter machine, and all their staff wear N95 (or equivalent) masks. As always, we welcome anyone who chooses to wear a mask at our event. If you are unwell, please stay home.

GOOD BOOKS is fully wheelchair-accessible. A limited amount of reserved seating is available for anyone who requires it – email us! We’ll use microphone and amp/speaker for accessibility reasons for any Deaf/hard of hearing attendees.
