TITIRANGI POETS: POETRY AND LAW

Featuring  JOHN ADAMS, PHILIP KHOURI and THE POEMS OF JIM BOYACK

JOHN ADAMS is a retired judge and has published two collections of poems and one of short stories and writes and performs songs with his band Don’t Judge Me.

PHILIP KHOURI is a lawyer who surfs at Piha and writes poems about life, love, war and the joys of friendship and surfing.

The late JIM BOYACK was born in New York, worked as a journalist in Tahiti and as a lawyer in the Auckland District Courts. He lived in Ponsonby and Muriwai

In addition we will have afternoon tea and the usual round robin where everyone is encouraged to read a poem, their own or someone else’s.
