EZINE NO.7 SUPPLEMENT
1 July 2020
Our computers went on strike last weekend and wouldn’t add the following intriguing prose poem to Ezine no.7.
The computers also labelled the whole Ezine as ‘spam’. So we had to send the Ezine out without it.
The Hidden Room
Richard von Sturmer
There are a thousand rooms in the Sydney Opera House. Its construction took fourteen years, and due to the complexity of the design, one room was reportedly sealed up without a door. The room became lost deep inside the building, over the decades absorbing and storing the sounds of countless operas and concerts. If it were ever to be opened, the explosion would blow out all the windows and the whole city would be flooded with music.
