Second Generation to Holocaust survivors: A Complex Past, A Contemplative Present
Writer Edna Shemesh talks about impact that being Second Generation to Holocaust survivors has had on her writing and her life in general, in particular her latest novel Hotel Malta, published July 2015.
She will also talk in short about the essence of the memory of the Holocaust now that Holocaust survivors are dying; soon none of them will have been left as witnesses. Edna will raise questions such as: What is our role as their children, now that we are in the forefront? How should the memory of the Holocaust be kept?
