Free Flash Fiction Competition Twenty-Nine Submission Open

FFF Competition Twenty-Nine is open for submissions.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submit a flash fiction piece of between 100 and 300 words, on any theme.
  • Entrants must be 16 years or over.
  • Entries must be in English. There is no limit to the number of entries an entrant may make, but multiple entries must be submitted separately.
  • The competition is open to writers worldwide, but stories must be written in English.
  • Entry must be original and unpublished.

Entry fee:

  • £3.95 fee per entry/story via PayPal or Stripe
  • £2.65 fee per entry/story via BACS

Prizes:

  • The winner will receive £150 and publication
  • 2 Highly Commended will receive £70 and publication
  • 3 Shortlisted will receive £60 and publication

Deadline: Saturday, 23rd August 2025 at 10:00 pm UK Time.
