Hard as it is to believe we’re at that point of the year again, but we’d like to give publishers advance notice that submissions for the 2026 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards will open on Thursday 7 August.

Books published between 1 January and 31 December 2025 will be eligible for the 2026 awards, and the first tranche of entries is for books published before 31 August.
