The Hachette Mentoring Program gives one writer an opportunity to work on a new draft of their completed manuscript under the mentorship of Hachette Publishing Australia.

The mentorship:
1. The mentorship will be personalised for the selected candidate, however it will always consist of structural notes provided by the Publisher, up to 5 Skype or telephone calls as needed, and email correspondences.

2. The Mentorship will begin in January and will end as agreed between the publisher and the chosen candidate but it is to be completed before the end of the year. The selected manuscript may be considered by Hachette for publication within 6 months of delivery of a new draft of the manuscript, but publication is not guaranteed.
