NZSA Heritage Book Awards Terms and Conditions
- Entry open to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents only.
- All entries to be compatible with the theme of the year – Our Stories – Milestones and Moments (in 2022).
- You may enter up to ten book titles per entry form. If you have more than ten book titles, please submit on a separate entry form.
- Book entries must have been published between 1 June 2021 and 1 June 2022.
- Books that have been published digitally or in e-book format) only, are not eligible to enter.
- Books can be entered into more than one category. A separate entry and fee must be paid for each category entered.
- The Te Reo Māori book award category is open to work which is bilingual or fully Te Reo.
- Children’s books include all books written for young people aged 0-19 years, including picture books, junior, middle-grade and young adult. Fiction and non-fiction.
- All entries must be received (including physical copies) by Award closing date. (Please allow plenty of time for delivery/courier times)
- The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Members of the NZSA Heritage Book Awards hub committee are not permitted to enter.
- Books entered in the competition are not returned.
- Book cover images of the winning entries and photographs from the live presentation event may be used for media releases etc.
- By entering the competition, entrants agree to the terms and conditions.
