For the first time ever, Aotearoa has a nationally judged book award dedicated solely to speculative fiction — and we want to see your work in the spotlight. All genres welcome — from science fiction to fantasy, horror to alternate history, cli-fi to cosmic weird. If it chases a distant horizon of the imagination, we want to see it! Any works published before June 30th, must be submitted by October 30th. And if you’re publishing between July 1st – December 31st 2025, please submit by January 9th 2026.
