Nau mai haere mai e ngā kaituhi Māori!
Te Kaituhi Māori is delighted to extend to you an invitation to join us for a three-day wānanga that celebrates and explores the richness of Māori literature, hosted by Te Kaituhi Māori, a new Māori-led kaupapa that is supported by the New Zealand Society of Authors Te Puni Kaituhi o Aotearoa (PEN NZ) Inc.
As prominent voices in the literary landscape, your presence is invaluable as we come together to delve into the major themes, barriers, and celebrations for the modern Māori writer today. The event aims to invite Māori writers to share breath, a kawhe and kōrero as a community about who we are, what our trauma is, and where we are going featuring kōrero from Haare Williams, Witi Ihimaera, Patricia Grace, and many more shining whetū!
