Entries are now open for the NZ Booklovers Awards 2027. Books published between 1 January and 31 December 2026 are able to enter and the awards are open to both traditionally and self-published authors.
Now in their 9th year, the NZ Booklovers have the following categories:
NZ Booklovers Award for Best Adult Novel 2027
NZ Booklovers Award for Best Lifestyle Book 2027
NZ Booklovers Award for Best Children’s Picture Book 2027
NZ Booklovers Award for Best Junior Fiction Book 2027
NZ Booklovers Award for Best Young Adult Book 2027
There is a $500 prize for each category to the winning author. The shortlist will be announced on 18 February 2027, and the winners on 18 March 2027.
